Make new friends, paddle your own kayak, zoom down a zip-line, or sing songs around a campfire. All of this and more is possible at Volunteer-Led Camps.
Volunteer-Led Camp is for Girl Scouts in kindergarten and up. Campers go home each day, but the occasional overnight at camp may be offered.
These opportunities are led by the amazing volunteers in your area! Volunteer-Led Camps happen all around our council and provide a closer-to-home option for girls and troops. Whether it is your first camp as a Daisy or you’re leading as a Senior Program Aide, these camps will bring adventure to your summer.
Registration Information
Registration opening dates and deadlines vary by camp. Volunteer-Led Camps are run entirely by our talented and passionate volunteers. Each camp has its own registration policies and procedures. Each camp has a different registration timeline. If you do not yet see a link to your camp's website or registration form, it is because it has not yet been submitted to council. Check back here frequently. You can expect to see most camp registrations open between February-March 2026.

Financial Assistance
Every Girl Scout should be able to make lasting memories at summer camp! Financial assistance is available to provide everyone with access to the same outdoor opportunities. In every instance the amount requested should reflect the true need of the family. Providing leadership opportunities through camp experiences is made possible by the Joyce Seymour Leadership Fund (JSLF).
To help support the camp community and ensure the sustainability of this program, all families, including those receiving financial assistance, are asked to contribute a minimum of 10% of the total experience cost. The 10% contribution towards the experience can be a combination of Kentuckiana Credits and family contributions.
Please Note: No JSLF applications will be accepted until January 1, 2026 except for overnight camp and requests for activities taking place January through March.
