At overnight camps, you might paddle across a lake, sail a boat, hike a trail, discover nature, and swim with friends when you’re not creating an artistic masterpiece or swinging among the trees in our challenge courses. Special meals together and classic camp songs (beside a fire you helped build) will fill your perfect evenings before cozy, comfortable nights spent in the great outdoors.

Please read this packet carefully, as our procedures evolve each year. It includes important information such as check-in/check-out procedures, packing lists, and so much more!
The Camper Packet has been emailed to registered campers. If you cannot find it in your email, you can access it by following these steps:

Our goal is to provide a positive experience for all campers. Please help ensure your Girl Scout’s successful camp experience. Contact us at least one month prior to the session to discuss any physical, behavioral, emotional, dietary, or other needs for your camper. Once we have reviewed your camper’s needs, we will determine if we can safely accommodate those needs at camp.
We are inspired to provide communities of acceptance where you’ll enjoy meeting new people from different backgrounds. At camp, we come together to challenge ourselves as we spend time in nature, try new things, and learn new skills. Our staff welcomes you to the magic of camp.
Cozy up in our rustic sleeping quarters. Rising 2nd and 3rd grade campers will be assigned air-conditioned shared space cabins or bunk rooms. Rising 4th-12th grade campers will be assigned open air shared space cabins, shelters or platform tents with other campers in the same program unit. The counselors sleep in a separate cabin, tent, or space very close to, but not with campers. Decisions on what sleeping unit campers are placed is based on age, attendance, camp session, and availability.
Check out this packing list as a starting point to ensure your camper has everything she needs for her stay.
Driving directions are available in your Camper Confirmation Packet. Please check your chosen GPS app to ensure the driving directions match the confirmation packets, as some GPS are not accurate for all properties.
We're so excited to see you at camp this summer! Here's what you can expect for check-in and check-out.
Check-In: Before you arrive, your camper’s CampDoc profile must be 100% complete, medications properly labeled in a Ziplock bag, and luggage/day bag packed.
Check-Out: Ensure the person picking up your camper is listed as a trusted contact on your camper’s CampDoc profile and has their ID to present to the camp team.
The Girl Scout Trading Post/Shop will be open to campers and family upon pick up and drop off. Cash will not be accepted.
Mail: You may prepare letters or packages and leave them with camp staff during check-in to be delivered to your camper throughout their session. Please label the desired delivery date, camper's name, and unit on each letter/package. Do not include food, candy, or gum in packages. We recommend pre-mailing before camper arrival to make sure any mail arrives while they are at camp.
CampGrams: Communicate with your camper with digital messages using CampDoc CampGrams. Purchase tokens that allow you to send messages to your camper that are printed and passed out daily. More information about how you can purchase tokens and send messages can be found in your camper’s CampDoc profile.
Phone Calls: We want your campers to enjoy the magic of camp unplugged free from distractions, so they can enjoy all the aspects of camp. Campers will have limited access to phones and calls home. Caregivers can reach out to the Volunteer Care Team with any general camp questions. We will provide the direct camp number upon arrival if you need to reach camp staff directly during your camper’s session.
We suggest campers do not bring personal electronics with them. If you choose to send your camper with a cell phone, they will have access to it one hour a day.
Camp will contact the listed emergency contact in cases of emergency, illness, behavioral needs, or homesickness to give any updates and collaborate on plans of care as needed.
Photos: This year, we are partnering with Waldo Photos for camper pictures! All camper families may view photos for free by visiting waldophotos.com and entering your camp-specific information, which will be emailed to you after registration. You can set it up to get a text alert or app notification every time a photo of your camper is uploaded.
Visitors: While camp is in sessions no visitors are allowed on property upon check out your camper can take family members on a self-guided tour.
It’s common for caregivers to have questions about their Girl Scout’s life at camp. Review these Frequently Asked Questions with helpful notes on health, safety, and common questions we hear. Please reach out to our staff with any additional questions you have.
