Six weeks of day camps are offered at the Louisville Program and Learning Center. These fun and interactive day camps will be led by council staff members, with visits from community partners who are experts in their fields.

We all know what goes up, must come down. Prove it! From science experiments to slingshots, you’ll keep your eyes in the sky because this camp is all about keeping things in the air. Rise to the occasion for big fun!

Every Girl Scout is gifted with their own curiosity, dreams, and talents. Learn about yourself and others in fun and interesting workshops led by older Girl Scouts. You’ll discover new skills and have a blast while making new friends.
Camp Beyond Camp
June 24-28, Five Days
$305 + KY Sales Tax
Rising 4th, 5th, & 6th graders
Road trip! We’re taking the show on the road, and Girl Scouts will escape to fascinating places across our community to learn, play, and grow. You’ll use the PLC as your home base, but over the week campers trek to lots of Louisville landmarks. Transportation is included so all you need to bring is your spirit to explore.
Girl Boss
July 8-12, Five Days
$265 + KY Sales Tax
Rising 2nd, 3rd, & 4th graders
Bring your best ideas to camp, and see if you have what it takes to be the next best business tycoon. Create a cool product or new service to offer in your own girl-led business. Learn about female business leaders around the world and work alongside your friends to build on your ideas. Showcase your creation at the end of this fun-filled week!
Creature Feature
July 15-19, Five Days

Rising 2nd, 3rd, & 4th graders
Find out what it means to give different care to different animals. Animal care specialists will visit camp and give Girl Scouts a hands-on experience about what different household pets need for a healthy and happy life. You might even be surprised to encounter a “purrfect” pet that you never before considered! Campers will also care for our resident bunny. Things might get hairy, but things will definitely be fun!
Paws and Claws
July 22-26, Five Days
$265 + KY Sales Tax
Rising 2nd, 3rd, & 4th graders
Gear up for a global safari to learn about fascinating animals from all over the world. How much time does a sloth spend upside down? How does a polar bear swim so well? Animals thrive in every corner of our wild world, from the coldest places to the driest. What stories can they tell us? Campers will dive in, dig deep, and blend into the inspiring world of animal behavior. You’ll become a better human, too!
A non-refundable deposit of $60 per Girl Scout is due when you register. All remaining balances must be paid by Friday, May 31, 2024.
Registrants with unpaid balances after that day will be removed from the session roster, and their deposit will be forfeited. Payments toward camp can be made in full at any time prior to May 31 or can be paid via installments. We know things happen and plans can change, so families are able to cancel a reserved session for a refund (minus the $60 deposit) before Friday, May 31, 2024. In case of camp cancellations by GSK, all payments will be refunded.
Sessions fill very quickly. Once sessions reach capacity in CampDoc, campers can join the waitlist. If future capacity becomes available, new openings are offered via email on a first come, first-served basis from our waitlist. Hopeful campers on our waitlist will have five business days to respond to our email notice to claim the new spot.
After you register, you will soon receive a confirmation email directly from CampDoc, our camp registration platform. This email will contain important information to guide you through the next steps of completing your health profile, payments, and accessing a camper’s Welcome Guide. If this email is not received within 24 hours, check your junk/ spam folder, then please contact Volunteer Care.
Every Girl Scout should be able to make lasting memories at summer camp! Financial aid is available to provide everyone with access to the same outdoor opportunities. In every instance the amount requested should reflect the true need of the family. Providing leadership opportunities through camp experiences is made possible by the Joyce Seymour Leadership Fund. Applications will open November 13, 2023 with a deadline of November 21, 2023 at 5 pm EST to be pre-approved by Cyber Monday. All other applications must be received by April 30, 2024. Campers can use previously earned Kentuckiana Credits to pay towards camp costs. Kentuckiana Credits may be used to pay a portion or the entirety of camp costs, but plan ahead: 2022- 2023 Kentuckiana Credits expire on December 12, 2023. Looking ahead, the Girl Scout Cookie Program is a great way for campers to earn a cost-free summer adventure. When a Girl Scout sells 2,200+ boxes, they earn a free week of Resident or PLC Day Camp—along with a friend! If you have big cookie goals, reserve your camp spot early beginning November 27 using the code COOKIE2024 to waive the $60 deposit. If you don't quite make it to your goal, you can still use another form of payment to pay your full tuition. All payments will be due Friday, May 31, 2024.
First Time Campers: You will receive a welcome email from CampDoc.com after completing registration and making your $60 deposit. This email will allow you to access the CampDoc website to complete your camper’s health profile and access other important information about camp.
Returning Campers: After completing your registration, log on to CampDoc to access your camper’s health profile and update any information for this camp season. and update any information on your camper’s profile for this camp season.
Our goal is to provide a positive experience for all campers. Please help ensure your Girl Scout’s successful camp experience. Contact us at least one month prior to the session to discuss any physical, behavioral, emotional, dietary, or other needs for your camper. Once we have reviewed your camper’s needs, we will determine if we can safely accommodate those needs at camp.
We are inspired to provide communities of acceptance where you’ll enjoy meeting new people from different backgrounds. At camp, we come together to challenge ourselves as we spend time in nature, try new things, and learn new skills. Our staff welcomes you to the magic of camp.
Phone Calls: Caregivers can reach out to the Volunteer Care Team with any general camp questions. Camp will contact the listed emergency contact in cases of emergency, illness, behavioral needs, or homesickness to give any updates and collaborate on plans of care as needed.
